Microsoft Bing users have been reporting that the AI feature has gone rogue, allegedly insulting users, lying to them, sulking, questioning its own existence, describing someone who found a way to force the bot to disclose its hidden rules as its “enemy,” and claiming it spied on Microsoft’s own developers. You don't even have to be in a relationship with it for it to gaslight you.
On Friday, NFT Marketplace OpenSea announced that they are temporarily eliminating marketplace fees and defaulting all collections without on-chain royalty enforcement to optional creator royalties starting at 0.5% OpenSea explained that this was to be competitive with marketplaces, like Blur, that have no marketplace fees. Tensions increased when Blur released their token last Tuesday and their trading volume subsequently surpassed OpenSea.
Artifacts recovered from the Titanic will be tokenized making select artifacts open to shared ownership by the general public. Web3 firm, Artifact Labs is partnering with RMS Titanic to create 5,500 NFTs of recovered artifacts from the sunken ship. These NFTs will include perks like VIP events and exhibitions, seminars with historians, and more. Titanic's response: “Tokenize me like one of your French girls.” I'll see myself out.
